Established in June 1982, Rhodie General Engineering (Pty) Ltd. has been a leader in the Engineering Industry for 42 years.
As a very experienced, well established business, working closely with some of the biggest names in the Mining Industry, we pride ourselves in providing a high quality, cost effective product to our customers, working in partnership to find the best solution possible.
Over many years of business we have established close working relationships with our suppliers, which enables us to offer competitive pricing and excellent turn-around time.
Our In-house Services Include but are not limited to:
- 2mm to 50mm (6000×2400). We assist with all breakdowns and offer the best Service
- Up to 32 tons (4 x Cranes – 12.5 ton, 10 ton & two 5 Tons) plus a mobile crane on standby for heavy lifting
- 1 x 1.8m Radial arm drill, 1 Pedestal drill & 3 mag bases
- 250 ton x 3m press brake
- 30 ton x 1.6m press brake
- 1.3m Plate roller
- Coded welders, coded to weld a variety of special & mild steel
- Fiber laser welder for welding of thin materials without distortion.
- Heating of Special steels done in-house
- Spray booth in-house – normal qd paint to specialized painting.
- Shot blasting to SA 2½.
